Giving Thanks

This time of year we all should think of the things we have to be thankful for.  Are you breathing?  That is a starting point, build from there!  I have quite a lot to be thankful for: excellent wife/partner/girlfriend (FYI-all the same person); health and ever increasing fitness; a closer walk and stronger faith.

On to the more inane portion.  No turkey!  This Thanksgiving Day we kept low-key, just the two of us.  For dinner I braised some beef in red wine and steamed kale to go with it.  She made a delicious squash soup and a berry crisp with topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

As I said, I have a lot to be thankful for.
