This time of year we all should think of the things we have to be thankful for. Are you breathing? That is a starting point, build from there! I have quite a lot to be thankful for: excellent wife/partner/girlfriend (FYI-all the same person); health and ever increasing fitness; a closer walk and stronger faith.
On to the more inane portion. No turkey! This Thanksgiving Day we kept low-key, just the two of us. For dinner I braised some beef in red wine and steamed kale to go with it. She made a delicious squash soup and a berry crisp with topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
As I said, I have a lot to be thankful for.
