A few days ago, the daily post from Mark’s Daily Apple suggested making pickled shrimp. When we went to the grocery store, there were wild-caught shrimp in the sale section for a few bucks a pound! I more or less followed the recipe when I got home, substituting spices for what I had on hand.
Today they were ready to try! The shrimp were tasty, summery, and festive. They were a great aperitif, and something a bit more special than regular shrimp cocktail.
