Crystal Bay Farm Visit

On a lovely Sunday drive to Watsonville, we passed by Crystal Bay Farm, and had to stop (obviously, because of the name).  They have pick-your-own berries, so we harvested some strawberries, raspberries, and the most amazing yellow raspberries I’ve ever had.  All fresh from the vines and warm from the sun.  We ate them all that day.  There really wasn’t another choice because they so incredibly sweet and ripe!

Lori was really welcoming, along with her dogs and cat.  In addition to the five acres of organic berries, they have 10 acres they use to grow over 40 varieties of pumpkins and winter squash.  So it’s a good place to visit in October, too!
